How do cot sheets provide comfort?
Cot bedding comes in various styles and number of pieces. Basically, a cot sheets usually consists of three pieces; a sheet, comforter and a bumper. Most manufacturers sell themed nursery sets which may include complete baby bedding sets. Let’s have a look at cot sheet sets and their comfort level one by one. The cot sheet sets is tight fitting. If the long sides of the sheet are loose, tuck them under the mattress, to keep them free and away from baby's fingers. Some manufacturers focus on making a safety sheet. These sheets have a large piece of elastic on the short ends, so it has a snug fit that keeps your baby safe and secure.
Cot bumpers are another important part of the cot sheets. When baby begins to move around, it keeps them safe from the sides of the cot. It is crucial to make sure the bumper has both top and bottom cot ties. This will keep the bumper attached to the cot. If the ties are too long, baby can easily hold the loose ends and pull the bumper. Bumpers also come in a few different styles. There is a one piece bumper that goes around the whole cot. Some bumpers have more "stuffing" that make them more plush. Bumpers should be removed from the cot once the baby becomes super active. Breathable bumpers are also available, which are made of a mesh fabric, that allow air to pass through.
